BLOG 2 - Why did I choose this career?
When I was a child, I
wanted to be a history teacher. I always liked to read books about the Egyptian
pyramids, about native cultures of America or just about historical events across
the world. And I wanted to share that knowledge to other people as a teacher
when I grew up.
So, when I was on 11th
grade, I decided to study something related to and I thought in Anthropology… When
I was applying to University, I thought in Sociology and even History again. However,
once the classes started, there was no doubt. I really love my career and how
it links with people and their cultures.
That's why I would like to live and work in the South, in mapuche lands, where my family originally comes from. Learning more about the culture, the language and trying to do my best for the community.
